The Aviat Social and Sporting Club Port Moresby
The Aviat Social and Sporting Club, Port Moresby, has been an icon in Port Moresby since it first opened in 1948. And the great spirit and friendship, which the club is renowned for is still alive today.
The club boasts great facilities such as 2 Squash Courts, 2 Tennis Courts, 2 Snooker Tables, Air Con Bar, Garden Bar, Poker Machine Room, a Restaurant, Snack Bar, Childrens Playground which allows for Kids jumping castle and the best Swimming Pool in Papua New Guinea
It also has a very active social and entertainments life. Regular events include Progressive Dinners, Trivia Quiz Nights, Fancy Dress Parties and Wine Tasting. Annual events not to miss, include Christmas in July, The Presidents Dinner and Oktoberfest
As well as this, we have our weekly Members Key Draw, Monday Night Trivia, Snooker and Pool competitions, Friday night Football promotions, Kids movies on our huge outdoor screen and much more. The Club have recently installed wireless internet access for the convenience of our members and their guests.
Sunday afternoon is a great day at The Aviat, with live music, K2 handles for happy hour, a great family BBQ and the massive Jackpot Joker Draw. Sundays at The Aviat has something for the whole family.
